Johnny S Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 To all of us living in Colorado or with Colorado family or friends with old cars. The Colorado Legislature is working on a bill this session HB 07-1097 that will allow the use of year of manufacture plates on any collector car that is 30 years old or older. So, if you live here or have family connections here it would be a good time to write to (or have your Colorado friends write to) your Senator and put in a good word for passage of this bill. The bill has already made it completely through the House of Representatives and is now on to the Senate where it awaits committee review and first reading. This would be great news for all P15-D24 owners in Colorado who want to add that special plate to your vehicle. If you have questions PM me. Quote
greg g Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Also be a good time to buy up some plates before the legislation passes and increases their "value". Quote
Normspeed Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 I guess my old plate won't be worth a dime, it's all rusty. Quote
Johnny S Posted March 10, 2007 Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 Ya...maybe not....but it has a LOT of character!! Quote
Niel Hoback Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 What's the problem? I can still read it. A little color and a quick buff-up, it'll be fine. Quote
Johnny S Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 Good point....I can read it too. I think it was gold and green back then....gold background with green lettering. Ya....that's the ticket. Quote
