ron schmitt
Just finished a 2700 mile road trip out west in my '48 B1B.We went to the NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals. My truck has a complete late model dodge drive train. We went from southern Illinois to Pueblo, Co. , Durango, Co., New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and home. We had no problems and got 19 plus miles per gallon. People love these Dodge Pilothouse Trucks.

Bob_Koch
Very nice. You've already accomplished what I hope to do, once I get my truck all back together.
Dan Babb
Tell us more about the late model engine. Did you install it yourself or was it already in when you got it? I'm pulling the front end sheet metal off my car now to do a swap, so I'm looking for info and ideas about engine swaps.
Jim Gaspard
That's a major road trip for a 48. Are we talking America's backroads, or interstates with the bad boys? What was your average speed and how far did you average each day?
