Finished the floor of my box today. Since I am not doing a ground up restoration at this point, I just used a 4x8 3/4" plywood for the wood and salvaged all my strips to re-use. I like the way it turned out. Once I strip this truck down and put a nice paint job on it, then I will maybe redo the floor to how it was original... Aaron

I did the same thing only I painted mine black. With the nice 'rusty' brown patina in that bed, I really like what you did. If you wet sand that bed with 800 grit you may be surprised how much color you will find. Great work, looks great!

you did a WAY better job than I saw some do at the Back to the 50's show here in Minneapolis. You found a good piece of ply w/o any "footballs" in it. Others I saw this last week had them all over the beds.

Thanks, surprisingly enough I grabbed the top piece and it was perfect. Usually I would have to dig through the pile and the one I want is at the bottom! I sealed both sides with a good deck sealer and will probably seal it one more time just for good measure....
