PatS.... Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I used the peel and seal type asphalt base stuff on my 88 Dodge Ram...worked very well for sound deadening and did give off the asphalt odor for about a week, then gone. Nobody who rode in it noticed it either. Maybe put some of that over the undercoating you have? Quote
55 Fargo Posted June 3, 2010 Author Report Posted June 3, 2010 Thanx Pat, waiting to hear back from EZCool, to see what they recommend. Hey Pat you rode in the car, did it smell, mind you it was cool outside....Fred PS the only thing, I thought of after your visit, dum Me, shoulda let you drive her.. Quote
PatS.... Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 No, no smell other than the normal old car smell. Too bad they can't can that smell. Fred, the ride was a hoot and made my day...actually made my trip worthwhile. Wouldn't have been able to handle driving! Quote

Joe Flanagan Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Yes, a great opportunity for a one-liner missed. Fred: You rode in it, did you notice a smell? Pat: Only when you were in it. Reminds me of an old Three Stooges scene. Larry: I smell something awful. Moe: I wouldn't brag about it. Quote
55 Fargo Posted June 3, 2010 Author Report Posted June 3, 2010 What a "marroon"..............LOL Quote
