Suggestion for new members

There have been quite a few additions to the community lately. So welcome to all the new old mopar owners. Good luck with your drivers and your projects.

I would like to suggest that on your profile, you take a minute to add some more information about you and your vehicle. You can also edit the header bar of your message post to include the same information. Not looking for your street address or cellphone number, but a general geograhic area would be nice, who knows, another mopar owner might not be far from you.

Also a little more infor about your vehicle, like year, make and model will go a long way in getting specific questions answered.

And if you feel like it respond to this message with a brief hello, kinda like those embarrising times when you join a club and they make you stand up and introduce yourself at the monthly meeting.

Kind of said hello after you answered my other question, Greg, but hello. Still playing with the member Control Panel and will check things out. Thinking of the stand-up intro, here is a copy of an email I sent out when we got our 1946 P15. For entertainment purposes only:

Dear Mom & Dad,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We have some big news. Are you ready? Sitting down? There’s a new little addition to the family and we know you will be as excited as we are!

Now, I know what you are going to say. Yes, we may be a little younger than most, but we’re both ready for it. We’re mature, and together we can make it. I know she’s going to be a lot of trouble and it will take a lot of time and effort, but we’re ready for it! I’m excited about the extra responsibility. I really am!

Mom, dad – you just have to trust me on this. I know you are worried now and you probably think this is more than we can handle, but in time you’ll realize we can make it, and you’ll come to love her just as much as we do. And let’s face it: your little boy is a Pontiac man, now!

Hmm. I loaded in my profile information and you can look at it if you go to my profile. However, I don't see how you get your location to display itself when you log a post. I'm missing something.
