What is the color for the red truck that is on the first page of the wiring diagram PDF? I love that color and want to paint my truck the same. Does anyone have the color code or name for that color?

Thanks

but I don't know who it belongs to. Maybe some of the folks at:

http://www.tcpglobal.com/hokpaint/

could help you out.

Be real picky. I almost had to throwout $1,200 worth of paint because I trusted someone else that to my suprise ordered 3 gals of paint at top retail of the wrong color. The worst part was that the guy that my guy purchased it from (not tcpglobal) wanted nothing to do with changing an almost aquamarine color into the green it is now (by adding yellow). I highly recommend you take your time and when you think you've got it, only buy 1 qt to test spray before finalizing your order. The guys at the autobody shop laughed at me for buying 3 gallons, but it took all of the 3 gals (minus 1 qt. I have remaining for touch up) If you are painting everything as disassembled parts both sides 3 or 4 coats of singlestage like I had done.

Better Love it!

Hank

That is Alan Parkhurst's truck. I believe it is a stock red color.

There are color charts with paint numbers on the DEPTCA site. I use them to get the proper color for my truck. http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/color/imgcol/index.htm

The numbers are old, but a good paint supply store should be able to cross them to modern numbers. I took a copy of the paint chip page with me to the store. They made a phone call and gave the person at the other end of the line the Dulux number and they were able to get a new code number. I matched the paint chip of that number to the inside of my glove box door, that I also brought along. It was a perfect match.

Be aware of color differences in monitors. The red you like and see on the monitor may not be the same shade in reality.
