47heaven Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 While watching an old movie on TV last night, I was surprised to see this P-15 Special Deluxe coupe pull out of a driveway and into the street. I didn't know what the movie was called, but I noticed an actress named Loretta Young driving the car. So I went on the internet and researched her movies and found that it was a 1951 movie called "Cause For Alarm." I found it on an internet movie database and have linked the only part that shows the car. It's seen at the beginning of the clip and lasts for about a minute before the rest of the movie continues on. The car is only seen in this scene through out the whole movie...so enjoy! http://www.archive.org/details/cause_for_alarm_1951?start=3599.5 PS: This may not play on all computers, especially if you don't have javascript. 47heaven Posted January 30, 2010 Author Report Posted January 30, 2010 Watched some of "Grease" last night. Did not spot anything specific, but enjoyed the cars more than most of the movie. I've seen Grease so many times and never have seen a P15 in there, no matter how hard I tried to look for one. I think it would have made a better Greased Lightning than a Ford would have. LOL! Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 in reference to another thread, I probably dislike JT as an actor as much as I dislike pigeons..have never seen nor will I probably ever see Grease...he is however a very successful man and I tip my hat to his achievements in life as a pilot etc..probably a very good chap in person but on the silver screen I just cannot take his acting.. The movie War of the Worlds, original 53 film...that is the movie for lots of old Mopars... Quote
John Reddie Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 I saw that film, Cause for Alarm" in the theater when it first came out and I have it on VHS tape. There is also a '49 Dodge convertible featured in there too I believe. John R Quote
