Jim Yergin Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I know there was a previous thread where some people remarked that they would like to have a '41 Plymouth coupe. There is a posting at the POC site (not mine) with a '41 Plymouth Business Coupe for sale asking $8500. It is at: http://plymouthbulletin.com/smf/index.php?topic=901.0 Jim Yergin Quote
1just4don Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Is that the going price for a running car that needs tons of resto?? Would be cool, but you might have alot of bucks tied to her before you get all done, paint, brakes, interior, etc. Quote
Normspeed Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 If it's as described I would say it sounds like a pretty good price. Makes me wish I had the $$ and the space, the 41 coupes are my favorites. Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 He hangs out on the poc forum, i think. He likes to deal in parts for that model Plym. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I haven't looked at that forum for long, long time. Did go there to check out the posting for the 41 Plymouth Coupe though. Doesn't sound all that bad for the money to me. They must have had a lot of trouble on that board though. Can't register unless you email the administrator. Found the following post made on Sept. 8, 2006 by the admin. Anyone know what that was all about? QUOTE OK, People who want to join this board - not existing members! I am getting very tired of removing spam (fake registrants) and have decided to - restrict registration - YOU CANNOT REGISTER, I WILL REGISTER YOU!!! If you are a paid member of the Plymouth Owner's Club - let me know or if you have someone you know that is already posting on this board, let me know so I can verify that you are not just looking for a place to cause trouble. Send an email to register@plymouthbulletin.com That email should include the userID you want to use, who you are, where you live and why you want to join the discussion - be brief but I reserve the right to refuse membership if you do not want to tell me why you want to join. Membership in the actual Plymouth Owner's club is NOT required but makes it easier to join this board. ALL NEW Discussion board MEMBERS WILL HAVE CONTACT ME BEFORE THEY CAN REGISTER!!. This means you can't register for this board, you have to go through me - don't waste your time trying! POC-Admin END QUOTE Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Someone went thru the site and was using the site to send porn to everyone who was regestered. Dennis:mad: Quote
Jim Yergin Posted February 13, 2007 Author Report Posted February 13, 2007 According to the POC site, Lindsay's email address is : plymouth@nauticom.net Jim Yergin Quote
Young Ed Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I'm not too surprised. I believe GTK initiated something similar here and you can't post until he approves your membership. Quote

We were getting spam too and GTK did change the registration procedure. Don't think he went that far though. It sounds like you almost have to know someone on the POC board to get on it. That's pretty tight. I wasn't trying to register there. Just noticed the big bold message on top of the page and went looking to check it out. Was just curious. One forum is enough for me. Quote
