lancair90 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I would like to have the seats recovered in my '49 Dodge Coronado Club Coupe and have it done in stock appearig material for the era. Does any one have pictures and maybe a source for material? Thanks as always and I appreciate all the help Quote
TJM70's_48 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 I have been considering a company called Auto Interior Systems of Cambridge, Ontario...they sent me some fabric samples and have some that look pretty close to stock. I haven't dealt with them yet, though. Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Check Le Baron Bonney. I think they might be listed in the vendors section of this site. Quote
1955 plymouth Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 check with sms auto fabrics in Oregon, they will send samples and they have large quantities of original materials, I got my '55 Belvedere seat materials from them and they were an exzact match, I am very pleased, I did pay $300 to re-do the front seat, but the car is in that good of condition to re-do as per factory. So, depending on how crazy you are try them out... http://www.smsautofabrics.com Quote
lancair90 Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 Yeah, sorry about the miswording, it is a Coronet. I contacted SMS about material and they're going to send out a sample. The area I live in, it's hard to find someone that does good work with out having to wait 6 months. Harry Quote
moparjack44 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Where you located? The guy that did mine is very reasonable, and works on 1 car at a time. I took mine in on a Monday AM, picked it up Friday. Jack Quote
