PatS.... Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 These scans posted in the Technical Archives may help. They are from a 1950 Mopar Service Reference Book. I have posted scans of: Clutch Linkage Oil Pump Pressure Relief Valve Left Rear Engine Mount and Automatic Choke. Still to come (if there is any interest): Oil Pump Discharge Pipe Floor Pan Strainer and Shifting---Low and Reverse. Might be some info on these Factory pages to help diagnose your strange thump, click or whirr. Quote
greg g Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 Pat those are neat resources. Amu chance your scans could be changed into PDF files??? If that is possible not only could they be on the site as a resource but might be downloaded by individuals if needed. Quote
PatS.... Posted February 6, 2007 Author Report Posted February 6, 2007 Greg; I am not 100% clear on how to do pdf files for the site. I have a very detailed 10 page Fluid Drive booklet as well, but I have no experience with pdf and not sure I have the programs I need otherwise I sure would. Quote
bob_amos Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 They are some great resources of vintage information. The Chrysler Imperial Club has a site that has loads of them scanned as well as a few film strips. I know David Maxwell was, at one time, trying to copy the videos that go with these books to CDs. He gave me one of the ones he had done and it was great. I wish he would have done more. But it is a lot of work and he is a busy guy. PatS.... Posted February 6, 2007 Author Report Posted February 6, 2007 All pages now in PDF format but too large for upload. How do I resize? If anyone wants a PDF, just ask. Quote page numbers. Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 I usually just tell her to roll over,,,, Sorry, couldnt resist. I would be interested in reading about the oil pump pressure relief valve if handy? Or maybe I can search it on here. Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 Sorry, I should have read more carefully. Nice link Bob. Quote
PatS.... Posted February 6, 2007 Author Report Posted February 6, 2007 After all that, Bob reminds me of the booklets on the Imperial site already in PDF. Well, for anyone else who forgot or didn't know of them they are a great resource. Here's the link to the "All in A Day's Work" book. http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/034/index.htm Quote
