Bobtjr(dale) Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Might need a poll on how many folks actually drive the old cars that they own:D Mr. C you hit the nail on the head. The question should be ((( do you want a garage queen or do want a driver?))) aaa:cool: dale Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I am in the middle of a frame off on a 1952 Chrysler. Have done a couple of cars complete this way. Bob Quote
jpettittwo Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I purchased this car from my wifes Uncle in Minnesota 4 years ago. He purchased it about 24 years ago already complete. He drove it when he wanted along with his other antique cars. It has been stored in a 6 car dark garage with no windows. I just had it delivered to our home in South Florida and have had no intention of frame off restoration of this car although it sure could us it. From sitting in the garage in Minn. for 4 plus years the brakes are not working so I purchased all wheel and a master cylinder as well as the rubber lines. I see that some steel brake line look poor so they will all be replaced at the same time. As I said it could use a frame off but I am just going to complete it as a crisp driver. Thanks John.
