As I have mentioned on here before I'm building a 50's gasser project using a 49 pilothouse. It has an International bed with pilothouse front fender flares grafted on. That brings me to the point of this missive. I have a lot of good inner panels from the donor front end and I was thinking someone might have a use for them. Don't want to just throw them away so if someone would like the panels for the cost of shipping let me know. I have attached a picture showing the condition of the parts. Oh, BTW I have a site showing the build so far on the 49 if anyone is interested. Mike Here's the site since my signature didn't show up. http://pics.livejournal.com/mikescars/

The fenders grafted onto the Binder Bed is cool. Looks like they belong there. Wish my metal working skills were half as good as yours look.

Keep the photos coming.

Thanks! I'm having a good time! I'm trying to make it look like what I think it would have looked if the factory had done a wide bed. It should be pretty unique. Once again, thanks for the pat on the back. Mike

Looks great Olddodgeguy! Nothing cooler than a straight axle Gasser. Got a name picked out yet?

I think you were born 60 yrs too late. What a design that would have been had a widebed been offered. They'd have outsold Ford and Chevy combined. Nice project-please post more pics as it progresses. Mike

I am soooo impressed with your work on the bed. I love the front fender lips on the bedsides. I am doing a full custom on my 53 and am looking forward to seeing more of yours as you progress. Bud
