can anyone tell me where the vin Tag on the 1940 dodge and the 1948 dodge is (on the door on the firewall or where) and is there a way to get i vin tag like the one that came on the cars ???

1930-42: Look on the passenger side front door hinge post.

1946-??: Look on the drive side front door hinge post.
