greg g Posted November 2, 2009 Author Report Posted November 2, 2009 Robert, Here is a Picture you might enjoy. It is a Chrysler Plymouth dealer located in Syracuse, NY. The Building still exists and is now a Jeep dealership. Its from the county historical association collectioin of Post cards. The interior has been updated over the years but the balcony and windows are still pretty much intact as wella s the chandeliers. I believe the Banners say 1937. Looks like one of thise hand painted photograph deals that were all the thing in the late 30's before the advent of colored film. http://www.bing.com/maps/#JnE9eXAuOTA3K1crZ2VuZXNlZStTdCtzeXJhY3VzZSUyYytueSU3ZXNzdC4wJTdlcGcuMSZiYj01Mi42OTYzNjEwNzgyNzQ1JTdlLTYyLjMxNDQ1MzEyNSU3ZTMxLjU3ODUzNTQyNjQ3MzQlN2UtODkuOTEyMTA5Mzc1 If the link doesn't work google bing and then enter the address and then go to the birdseye view. 1955 plymouth Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I found it hard to pry myself away from that stuff. It is like taking a trip back in time every time I read one of those brochures, you are taken back to just how simple things really were back then. Thanks again. Quote
Rollie Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Dart Custom: A four-door sedan for the thrifty family man! http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/dodge/75dart/bilder/3.jpg I once owned a powder blue-white vinyl top /6 version of the mighty '75 Dart Custom as a beater car (pop riveted "aircraft aluminum" lower quarter patch panels included). My Wife (who was pre-wife at the time) was embarrassed to be seen in that car. I thought the Dart was kinda nice. Quote
