hotrodkats Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Are there any baby moon hub caps for P15 out there? I am customizing my 48 and looking for ones. If you know any tricks or anything, please let me know! Quote
1949P17BC Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 there are plenty, cut the head, dual in and out, lower it maybe but keep it as orginal as possible and you will be the coolest cat out there Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 I doubt you'll find them for the original wheels. I looked all over in the late 90's and never found any that would fit. You'll have to change wheels as Greg mentioned if you want baby moons. That said. If you remove the paint on the boat of the original caps they will look more like baby moons than original, especially from a distance. Quote
David Strieb Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I made up a set for my '38, found some non-script 9" caps at a swap meet, have no idea what they fit. They were 2 pc, I seperated the cap from the attachment ring. Using some 9" one-pc stamped steel mopar trk caps, I cut the the cap from the ring, cleaned the ring up and put the non-script caps on the mopar attachement ring. 9" caps from the 40's era packard 110 series also fit the mopar wheels. cwcars88 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I had the center cut out of mine so I could keep the bolt pattern and the stock hub caps and had 14" wheels welded to the stock centers. Quote
