powerwagon Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 will a 1952 plymouth business coupe rear glass fit in a 1950 plymouth business coupe? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) NO interchange per model year but I will admit they did not say BZ CP exactly..it is my experience that the shortbase wheelbase cars carried a lot over year to year..especially in the Suburban and Concorde which is part in part the lineup for the BZ CP..I do not have a business coupe here to measure but do do know where a 50 Bz Cp is and could possibily get a measurement...from another site..this is a from a general description of the 49-52 plymouths: Glass/Windows - The '49 rear window is not as wide as the '50. '51 & '52 rear windows are the same but bigger than on the '50. to read the entire article on the ins and outs what is different etc...follow this link: http://www.oldplymouths.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2 Edited September 6, 2009 by Tim Adams Quote
JerseyHarold Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 I have a '51 business coupe and the 1951-1952 business coupe rear window is the same as the 1950. Some upper rear window stainless trim interchanges as well. The belt molding was different between the 1950 and 51-2. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 that is good information..the statement I made in my earlier post about the 111 inch wheelbase cars not changing as much from year to year as compared to the big sister has been pretty much proven.. Quote
JerseyHarold Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 The funny thing about the business coupes is that, even though the rear windows are the same 50-52, the roof itself is different for the 1950 because the front windshield is narrower. Quote
