Thermostat housing

Can someone please tell me where I can find a thermostat housing for a 218 without a bypass, Just a straight housing, Found one through andy b but $50 seems a little steep, Is there a modern cross reference one I can use if nothing else?

Is this for a '51? or other year? They tend to vary a bit from year to year so if you have a picture of your old one, or one like you want, it would help.

Check out a housing from any small block mopar V8, depending on whether you need the housing that has space for the thermostat to sit inside or not.....the mid 50's Mopar V8's had a housing that had the same bolt pattern as the side valve six and was cast iron, the 60's era V8's used an alloy housing, with the same 2 hole opposing bolt pattern but I think they had the thermostat sitting inside the intake manifold so may hit the inside of the 6 cylinder head.....andyd
