Dennis Hemingway Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Here is a site that I found on the HAMB. There are some neet Concept cars on this site. Dennis:cool: 1950 Plymouth XX500 http://www.autoweteran.gower.pl/concept_timeline.html Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Those concept cars are nifty......as you look at them, you can see styling cues that came up in later models with other names. Notice that many of them have chrome wire wheels of some type......add to that sporty, european look. Quote
bob westphal Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Put modern headlights in this car and it would look right at home in todays new car show rooms. Quote
greg g Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Looks like a little, Ghia or Bertone design crest on the fender. Gotta admit those Italian designers had a knack for "timeless" design. From the Ghia design website; In 1950 Fiat had asked Chrysler in America for assistance in the training of its technicians in the latest mechaning and assembly techniques. In return, Chrysler decided that it lacked the syling and bodybuilding expertise that was found in Turin, and established contacts with Pinin Farina and Ghia. Quote
Frank Blackstone Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 I looked at them all. Gave me some ideas for the 72 Pontiac I am customizing. I have most of it done but am still desiding about the front end. Good brain food. Quote
