Byronb3b Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 mopar offered a firewall mounted reservoir as as accessory in the late '40s early '50s I have one on my '48 Chrysler although mine is not a mopar, was made by a Co. called Sea-Level, the center part is made of glass, easy to check the fluid level. Reg Evans Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 That would sure make it easier to bleed the brakes with the extra fluid too. Can one be had with the small reservoir cap on the master cylinder? Quote
Byronb3b Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Mine came as a kit with several different caps included, just replaced the stock cap with one from the kit, they have a small hose nipple to run the hose up to the reservoir, makes bleeding the brakes a one person job as there is enough gravity to push the brake fluid through system without pumping the pedal.
