there are some good answers on the posts on the hamb. Depending on which struts would work, I lean towards using stock ones off any model vehicle that would adapt well. I love the panel and what you are trying to do to the suspension is not insurmountable. I am sure you will get this small detour fixed in no time. keep us posted on the fix. Bud

Of course it can be done. Feel sorry for the guy on HAMB whose's afraid of hard work and adventure.

Here's another idea. might not work for you cuz of the up and down travel.

I would consider keeping the struts paralel to the frame. It'll help protect your ackerman and slip angle's better. It'll look like a four link set up. Cut the torsion bar brakets and throw in a cross member, then the tabs for the strut. You got the Towers framed up nice, all you got is those struts and you can call her done.

Thanks guys I appreciate the info and motivation. I didn't even reply to that guy. I figured it would just start a useless pissing match. I'm thinking some DOM tubing with some heim joints should do the trick. Some guys are afraid of a little work and ingenuity. Just about anybody can buy a Mustang II clip and put it on, but for most of us on a budget we do what we can!
