Don't have any idea per se, but I did find a site that has some info about all vehicles from the 40's concerning pricing. Didn't list the Dodge truck price, but the truck itself is listed. I'll have to dig a little more.:D

Does anyone know what the price was for a new 1948 b1b 108 from the factory

In Don Bunn's book it says $1263.00 for 1948 B108 1/2 ton PU.

Depends on the body style and GVW.

Chassis/Body Type.......4200GVW.....4500GVW.....4800GVW

-------------------------------------------------------------

Flat Face Cowl.............$863.00.......$882.75........$905.25

Windshield Cowl............$903.00.......$922.75........$945.25

Cab...........................$1058.00.....$1077.75......$1100.25

Cab & Pick-Up 6-1/2'....$1113.00.....$1132.75......$1155.25

Prices are from Feb. 1948 and are for standard equipment. Additional charges would apply for extra equipment.
