adam_knox Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 I don't know if these are good deals or not, and don't know if I should post them, just thought if anyone is looking these are a few i came across. 47 Dodge: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/ctd/1159074406.html $2800 These were listed (no pics): 1941 Plymouth coupes. Enough to make one good car. $1100. 1941 Plymouth sedan delivery. Desireable. $1500 Call me Russell 262-679-2305 1939 Plymouth Sedan:http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/1154575605.html $3850 There were others listed that were projects, but they were like 5k or more, and some daily drivers as well. Alright, I should turn off the computer and head back into the garage and work on my car... Quote
RobertKB Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Thanks for posting. Depends on the shape of some of the ones he does not have pictures of. Price sounds not bad. A bit much for the Dodge and the '39 Plymouth in my opinion. Again a lot would depend on the mechanicals. '39 seems to have all the trim which is a big plus. Only problem with the trim is the after market headlight bezels so the owner could install seal beams. Originally had kind of square headlight bezels. Quote
desoto1939 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Noticed that on the 39 Ply the owner has the wrong rims. He has 1936 styled rims with the scalloped rims that came off a Desoto. rich Quote
claybill Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 sedan delivery is GONE. the 2 coupes are rough and barely salvageable . one is stub chevy frame w/motor. other has no motor etc....parts cars for body stuff maybe. i saw all pictures. bill Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Bill......here's the car you need. Evidently it can double as a submarine. Definitely different. Quote
claybill Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 hey bobby-T..i like it! especially the visor. and the wisc coupes..on the phone the guy said yu could make a nice coupe out of both parts cars...these cars are barely salvageable..some decent sheetmetal, like fenders, is still there..but.... bill Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The visor's probably the most valuable piece on that car......... Quote
