The car club I belong to took a short tour out to a provincial park near us called Park Lake. I took my '38 Chrysler and another forum member, Ralph D25coupe, took his '48 Dodge D25 Coupe on the same tour. We took the long way to get there and stopped for coffee at a town on the way. I have included pictures of both our cars. The best part for me and my wife was having our daughter, son-in-law, and the two grandsons come out from town and join us for the picnic. The two and a half year old is shown "driving" grandpa's car. The other grandson is only 3 1/2 months and too young to drive.:P What a great time!

Yes. great cars and a very cute grandson. I was thinking, that to him, he has absolutely no idea that that car is not Detroit's latest model. It reminds me that to kids, they are born into whatever environment we provide for them. For all he knows it could be 1938.

Thanks, Fred. I call him "my little buddy". He lives in town so I get to see lots of him and his little brother is a cutie too.

Take a look at the blue on that '48 Dodge. I know you like blue and that is a Chrysler colour. The car is a low mile survivor and has only had a repaint in its original colour. I think it would look great on your car!

Good point. Biggest thing for kids is lots of love and this little guy sure gets plenty.
