THERE is also this HOLLEY it was on a 54 chevy truck 235 it is new wondering what else it might fit # 3615-2 ?? Quote
PatS.... Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 D6M1 is for 1949-1953 Dodge 6 with Fluid Drive and M6 Semi-Automatic transmission. Models: D30, D34, D41, D42, D46, and D47. Quote
greg g Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 The single barrels in the use back i the day had pretty much two standard two bolt basses. If the mounting holes fit the studs it would likely work, assuming you can get the linkage sorted. so holley rochester zenith whatever but the carter is porbably the best of the lot. Quote
wayfarerstranger Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 so because it has the 2 electrical connectors would it be for a gyromatic , i have several fluid drives and non look like this ?? thanx Quote
PatS.... Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Chance, the Fluid Drive refers to the fluid coupling in place of the flywheel only...it doesn't refer to the transmission, which could be a 3 speed standard OR the M6 Gyromatic. The M6 Gyromatic needs the electricals in order to shift...the 3 speed standard doesn't. Quote
wayfarerstranger Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 so as i thought this is a carb for the gyromatic ?? i think the other B&B IS FOR 61 slant 6 .. thanx Quote
