rearview Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 I've got all my old Mopar parts links on my home computer. I'm looking for somebody that has the handbrake cable, transmission mounts, and maybe wheel cylinders and exhaust. The page I was looking at lastnight had a brown background, and was split up into groups... weatherstripping, internal engine, interior, etc. Can anybody aim me the right way so I can spend some cash? Thanks, Bob Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 sounds like you were at oldmoparts site Quote
rearview Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 How's people's experiemces with them? Good company? Want to make sure I'm going to be happy anfer shipping $500 off to them. Quote
anthonyb Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 I just ordered a new wheel cylinder for my 41 P11D. Shipping was fast and the cylinder looked good until I opened it up to clean out the preservative oil. Very large casting flaw in the bore. It's going back when I get the chance in the next day or two. Hopefully, they won't give me any problems with replacing it. You might also look in the thread about 46 D24 front brakes. There was a website listed in one message about other people's dealings with Bernbaums. Seems to be hit or miss about good or bad experience. I've had both. Good Luck Quote
Normspeed Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 I've heard mixed reviews on Bernbaum, and I've had similar mixed experiences with Roberts. The best advice someone here gave me was, don't slam the door on future transactions, they may have something you really need one day. Unfortunately I had already told Gary Roberts to...well, you get the idea. Quote
Jeff.P_46 Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I just got the parts today from Bernbaums (front wheel cylinders and rear springs). Fast shipping and the parts look OK, I will check the bores this weekend to see if they have any flaws. Jeff Quote
