bach4660
has anyone carpetted the cab? if so how did you finish the edges?
MBF
I haven't done it yet, but I'm taking my rubber flr mats to a carpet guy to make a pattern out of using a short pile black carpet. I'm going to ask him to bind the edges so it looks better. Hoping it quiets down some of the noise from inside the cab too. Mike
48WingNut
You could talk to a local carpet company about finishing the edges. They could tell you how much extra material to leave and they could (or should know of somebody) sew the edges. 48WN
Rich Gengo
When I made the carpet for mine, I used automotive carpet and cut it to the pattern I needed and then took it to an upolstery shop and had them sew the edge on. I forget what the stuff was called but it is made for the carpet.
Young Ed
Rich I don't recall what that stuff is called either but its called bound carpet when you're done. Maybe that stuff is called binding?
