KJ's Dodge Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I tried a number of times to join the group yesterday but to no avail! Dial up or software issues (I use AOL) and yes, dial up. Really slow. I bet you could see me enter the chat room but no dialog showed up on my end. Is AOL compatible? I had my pop ups so they could be active, what did I miss? May have to take the laptop in to a coffee shop in town w/ wireless next time, KJ Quote
Merle Coggins Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I saw your name entering the chat several times, but no chat from you. I wondered what the problem was. It was one of the more active chat sessions that I've been a part of with the club. Sorry you missed out on it. I'm no computer tech so I'm probably not the one to help you through the issue, but if it were me I'd get it sorted out before the next one. Merle Quote
51 Fargo Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 I stopped in and said hello and got no reply from anyone but the chat room kept flashing ????? must have had a glitch ???? Quote
48Dodger Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 I agree with Merle...lot of members signed on last night. Seems though it shouldn't have been a problem....??? The guys who had problems, maybe it was more than a dail-up problem? I didn't see any delay in my posts. I use Hughes-Net (satt) cuz of lousy "land line" consistancies and no available cable. Just curious. 48D Quote
