Aussie D25 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Just an expression of interest really yet I was interested in what people have in their workshops in the ways of " absolutely cant live without it" tools. I have been told that a hydrulic lift is one of those dream items... yet being more practical for the budget what are some tools or pieces of machinary that you have used that has made the job just that much easier? Sand blaster, massive air compressor ? or some tool that no-one has ever heard of that does a thing with a whatsit that makes it fit over the thingamajig Post some pics, it would be cool to see some sweet workshops. I was lucky it lasted long enouf for me to finish the engine in the 48. a week after I moved the 48 back into the garage a dust devil took the canopy. busycoupe Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Dennis, I am thinking of adding a lift to the garage. What kind is yours? Are you happy with it? Do you have any sage advise? It would be used only for working on my Dodge, and any other old car that may follow me home. Dave Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 My lift is a Direct Lift Pro Park. I like everything about it. When I had my garage built I had 14 foot walls so I could lift a car up all the way. When I got mine I got the casters with it so I can move the lift if I have to, I have moved it 3 times already. This is where I got mine. http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/ Dennis:D Quote
