fredsv8shop Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Gentleman, Can anyone help me with finding these exhaust headers ?? This picture is from a while ago here on the forum, I would love to get in touch with the maker of these headers. As I remember these where for a short flathead engine and I wonder if I could get hold of long block engine headers. Regards Fred Quote
Andydodge Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Fred, I too would like to know more about these, especially would like to see a pic of them on an engine as they may fit a RHD car better than the Fenton cast iron headers.....very nice work from the pic........andyd Quote
greg g Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Certainly not as fancy as the set pictured but this fellow can make up stuff in just about any configuration. http://www.manifoldsbymoose.com/ Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Fred......a few days ago Charlie Akers posted this about some fellow in the Netherlands needing a new manifold for his Plymouth. Now, I'm sure that the Netherlands is small enough you would already know just who this Igor is........NOT. I figured you might be able to help him out in some manner, but we need some way to get you together. So.....Charlie, if you might pm fred with igor's email, maybe they could talk and solve the problem. Just a thought. His 51 Plymouth Cranbrook is a daily driver and a broken manifold makes that a less than charming activity. I do not currently have a manifold I can send him, does anybody have one? If you do and are not familiar with overseas shipping I can help with that as I do it routinely. If one of you guys in England have any leads that might also be helpful. Owning and operating a Plymouth in Europe is something we can all help with, so let's see what we can do for Igor.]] __________________ Quote
fredsv8shop Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 Bob, I do not know a cranbrook driver by the name of Igor but that could change if you give me his details or you give him mine, I think I might have a manifold for him lying around in my garage. ( and more stuff ) Regards Fred email : plymouth@kpnmail.nl cel Phone : +31(0)6.430.777.46 Quote
fredsv8shop Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 I have been in contact with Igor this morning , He's living only 60 odd miles from my place so he will be over on Saturday and we will install a new manyfold on his motor. Will send some pictures after the job is done. Fred Quote
greg g Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 That's great and a bit wierd also. There are two forum members in the Neatherlands that are closer than my nearest neighbor member here NY state. Quote
blueskies Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 That's great and a bit wierd also. There are two furum members in the Neatherlands that are closer than my nearets neighbor member here NY state. Small world indeed. Closest forum members to me are 500 to 700 miles away. I'm about equidistant from Reg Evens, Dwight Pectal, and JohnnyS. Remember the Frapper Map? You guys overseas can put yourselves on the map too... Pete Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Rather amazing the things that can get done thru the forum. Sounds like another success story. In my case, I was talking with Dan (moparalltheway) a few Sundays ago regarding the 49 Dodge he went on to purchase. One result was he informed me of the swap meet at the Nashville fairgrounds on Feb 1st......which I now plan to attend. We were going to Nashville anyway, but moved back the date to include the swap meet. Also it was determined he and Don Coatney are practically neighbors in Murfreesboro, TN......so now Don, I believe, has been to see his cars. Small world is right. Quote
