Merle Coggins Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I feel that Steele Rubber Products has the best quality stuff, but you're gonna pay for it. http://166.82.96.9/homeframes.html You can also get glass and door seals from Roberts Motor Parts http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/index.html and some other sources too. I don't have all of the links handy. Merle Quote
milo ringe Posted January 22, 2009 Author Report Posted January 22, 2009 Thanks for the info , I check pricing and Steele is about $225 higher then Roberts . That makes a tough decision for the budget minded . Quote
bkahler Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 The old adage "you get what you pay for" really rings true when it comes to buying rubber products. If you want to have to replace the rubber in a few years buy the cheaper stuff. Just my $0.02 Brad Quote
Bob_Koch Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I'll probably spend almost $700 when I get done replacing all the rubber and window channels. It's certainly not cheap so I'm doing it in stages. If you read the past forums you'll find that steele rubber seems to have the fewest problems. There is also clesters that was reported to work well, but they don't have it all. If you need to replace the window channeling then Roberts or JCWhitney seemed to work fine for me on that. Quote
Phil Martin Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 When I got glass cut for my b4b the glass place had window channel. Way cheaper and no shipping costs. Quote
