greg g Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Tony, please detail your rear end set up including the wheel and tires, sizes backspace etc. Thanks. Quote
Tony Cipponeri Posted January 25, 2009 Author Report Posted January 25, 2009 Hi Greg,The rear end is out of a 1978 Volare, 3:55 limited slip, the back space on the rims is 4 1/2 inches, the rims are 8 inches wide, 15 inchers, the tires are 8 1/2 inches wide at the thread they are 275/ somethings I will look at them today and give you the size. All that I did to the rear end was move the spring perches. I could have put a wider tire on had I made the back space a little deeper. Tony C Quote

Normspeed Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Tony, a friend of mine stayed over at my place last night on the way home to Fla from the GNRS. He bought this little cream puff off a bulletin board ad at the Early Ford Store, tore up his plane ticket home and hit the highway. 38 Ford 4 door vert. Older hot rod, probably built in the 70's. 327 Cheby and automatic. Runs great, has a drinking problem, one quart per fillup. Quote
Tony Cipponeri Posted January 27, 2009 Author Report Posted January 27, 2009 Norm, That is a nice car, I always wanted a four door convertible. A friend of mine had one, a few years back when I was a teenager. Boy did we have fun in that car. Tony C Quote
