Don't know of any floor shifters that are made for old Mopar's today. However, you might look around for an old Hurst setup. They use to make them for a lot of different cars in the 50's/60's.

Outside of that, I've seen articles in street rod/custom magazines where people made their own. Shouldn't be that hard to do if you find or can fabricate the necessary adapters to your transmission. Then it's just a matter of finding a floor shifter to fit the adapter. So.......maybe find the shifter handle/shaft first, then fabricate the adapters.

Mr. Gasket used to make a floor shifter for our cars, they are once and a while available on ebay. The shift pattern is different than the fegular other threespeeds in that is uses a selector type mechanism. Some one on the forum has modified a shifter to work with our patterns. Don;t remember who.

Most wheels with a 5 X 4 1/2 bolt pattern. Fords, AMC, and Jeep will work, however you need to watch the with and the backspace measurment. It can't exceed 4 inches or you will rub on springs and tie rod/ steering knuckles.

also rimes wider that 7 inches are too wide. Espo springs, fatman dropped spindles, lowering blocks in the rear.

I've got a floor shifter that I purchased from Tony Cipponeri.... I can't remember the name of it off hand, maybe he can remember...

Its made for my flatty... only can't be used if an overdrive is being used....

from what i can tell its a free floating system and it appears to be the same width as my rear end

now i just have to figure out how to make it work with the transmission:confused:

also i can have the running 318 and 727 out of the van if i want it...i might just pull it and garage it fr a possible later project
