greg g Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Must only be a temporary repair. For a permanant application, I would think one you need to trim those legs off. They might drag going in and out the driveway. A permanent repair might also feature the addition of a spill pillow (or other type of absorbant pad) in the device. It will increase its capacity and contain the spillage, It would be addressed at the same interval as scheduled oil changes. Quote
Normspeed Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 With a few bungee cords you could eliminate the jackstand. Quote
Mark Haymond Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 It's wired into place with copper wire that loops over the frame cross member. I'll drive with it until I install the transmission I am rebuilding. Quote

Epay would have been much better as sales of this product will expand your retirment funds:D I can just picture clean-up of this device using a high nap paint roller:cool: And as an added bonus you can roll the clean-up crud onto your deck floor same as the high priced stain of the same color. Don Coatney Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Needs a drain plug so you don't have to untwist the wires. Cut the legs off, too much turbulence and parasitic drag at high speeds. Hum; Cascade drain plugs. Novel idea:rolleyes: Quote
