I got the T5 kit from Langdons for my B1B. There are 4 mounting bolts on the T5 to drill and tap for the bell housing to make it work. 2 of them with be straight forward. 2 of new holes partially overlap the old mounting holes. Can I take this to a good welder and have the holes plugged then drill and tap?

Hmm I thought the T5 swap to a truck was supposed to just be drill 4 holes and go. Shane did you origanlly have a 3spd or 4spd?

I haven't called him yet. I figured this out last night at midnight and I knew about 10 of you would be hovering around the boards early this AM so I posted the ???? I am not sure which tranny was in place. The truck was not driveable when I got it. I think it may have been a 4spd....I remember sitting in the bench seat making engine noised and shifting the gears!! I think it had 4 and reverse.....but that was a year ago so my memory may not be correct.
