I drove in from New Mexico, arrived yesterday evening, and this morning I fired up the P24 and took it to San Bernardino for the Bo Huff Rte 66 event. Beautiful day, hot but not brutal. There was a big turnout but still looked like a whole lot of vacant (unsold) spaces. A real big family event, with lots of entertainment and booths for the kids. Open header cruise too.

Does something look a little odd about this convertible?

Here's a link to more photos. The show was too big to take it all in so I mainly shot photos of the more unusual stuff. A few mopars were there. Mackster, your new cellphone number hooked me up to a nice lady who doesn't know you at all!

Side photo looks like a 4 door with the rear handles removed and the boot is too small to cover a folding top.

and the right side doors seem to be sticking out a bit where the rear door hinges.

I recall cutting the roof off an old English Envoy while in High School and the frame drooped and the doors wouldn't open. In welding class we jacked up the middle and welded a railroad rail chunk to the frame on each side. Cured the door problem but doubled the weight of the "car":D

The kid I sold it to in HS in 1970 for $25 still has it!

Well Norm, you just HAD to show me a picture of a '60 Buick didn't you. You know I'm trying to focus on the four projects I already have plus keep my '32 running. Thanks Bud. Maybe some day I'll have one. That mopar wagon made me think of the El Mirage Lodge paint work that a certain '53 needs. Maybe now Florida Mountain Lodge or Hacienda Ol' Mexico will be more appropriate. We could have a naming contest,

Hey Norm, saw you driving your wagon today, looked like you were just arriving and looking for a parking spot. Was hoping you'd park near by so I could say hi, but you drove off someplace else. What brings you back? More stuff to move? The two guys I was with could not believe by your exhaust note that there was only a flattie under the hood, they were duly impressed.

Hi Richard, sorry I didn't see ya, I was looking in all directions at once trying to find a parking spot! Yup, I'm back for another load of stuff. This trip I have the flatbed and a nice new F250 super duty crew cab with the turbo diesel. Nice ride.

Grandadeo, I took that Buick shot just for you. :D
