  4. Haven't had a chance to get on BIG computer yet. Thanks for all the tech stuff. My car measures 55 inches door post to door post so something less than that may fit.probably have to raise it up some way.
  5. Know where suburban third seat is..measures 48 across top only need one mine is business coupe..your convwritable sounds really cool and rare .the spell check thinks it's smarter than me.might be right
  6. What are you using for drive shaft pinion yoke ? Thought about that too but haven't found yoke .understand there is an interchange

  12. Thanks for info about wheel cylinder push rods swapped old ones back in they are about 3/8 shorter than new ones brake drums back on
  13. GEE Mr Adams did I ask that question before? As I'm an old guy aND not very good at this tech stuff. Had to have my 13 you grandaughter get me signed up for the forim.was just trying to learn something helpful to get this car going again. It's a rolling shell that previous owner was going to cut up for scrap.didn't mean to get folks in an uproar.just looking for info

  16. Sorry for being a new guy,just been on here short time. Don't know all the jargon.I'm almost 71 and trying to save a 47plymouth business coupe. Previous owner was going to cut it up for scrap. What is a "thread" anyway?
  17. Fargo go far...thanks for the link. Many seem to favor flathead 6. Previous owner saw fit to get rid of engine,tranny seat steering column and many other parts ...so looking at all the options to try and save this 47 business coupe
  18. Thank you old guy 67 I'm old guy myself. Figured the tranny mount had to come out.interesting about your on going swap.skill level? Once built a 36 ford pick up.. chevy engine stock tranny...39 Chevy 4 door 283 power glide ..both daily drivers ....was a lot younger then though...time marches on ...still like the old iron though. Would like to learn more about your cars
  19. Would prefer split back bench...don't know anything about threads Mr Adams if you mean cloth seats that would work fine

  24. We have a 47plymouth business coupe, rolling shell at this point been tinkering here and there on it for about a year...rather be driving it. .
  25. New wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, old brake shoes,clean and dry.I wondered about push rods , have to check that. Did back off miner adjusters
