  1. Just great photo's
  2. Thanks Robin, really great day out! As I said yesterday, mine's bigger than yours:p Trophy that is!
  3. :cool:Excellent pics, thanks, Deano
  4. Hey Bob, I am reliably informed that the truck hauling the Route 66 Diner is a 1947 Diamond T. Deano
  5. You're welcome Bob! Re: the truck, I have no idea of year or model I'm afraid. We only managed to get out and about very occasionally in between the heavy rain showers, and had to be a bit selective with what we spent time looking at! Still, we were lucky there were so many other crazy people taking their cars along. Maybe Robin can shed some light?
  6. Inclement weather yes, but some cooool cars!!!!. Check this link. http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12935&page=2 I hope I've done that right! Deano
  7. Great photo's, thanks for sharing:)
  8. Darin, As you say, unusual color, but it really works. Beautiful car!
  9. Darin, I think we've got just about every P15, model variant over here now barring a woody! What colour did you paint your car by the way, I can't tell from the photo on the members page, sure looks in good shape though, Cheers, Deano
  10. Norm, I couldn't agree more. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  11. Hi Darin, Yes it's Balfour Green, I really like the colour myself, although from a few comments that I've had from non believers over here , you either love it or hate it!! Deano:D
  12. Are these old cars more likely to suffer from a blowout than a modern vehicle? The thought had not even occurred to me. I understand that the centre of gravity and weight distribution is all a lot different to a modern car, I guess therefore that it's behaviour in a blowout situation is going to be totally different. Do they have a tendency to flip? Deano
  13. Hey Bingster, Just love that grill!
  14. Hey Jim, I really like the way your car looks too! Having now fitted the skirts and seen how much it changes the whole look of the car , I don't think I would run it without them. It's a fine line to tread , as to what's enough and what's too much as far as add on's are concerned. I nearly put too many trims on, but was advised to exercise caution. I did a mock up, photographed it, thought about it , and then changed my decision. I'm glad I did. Less is more! Deano:D
