So just got back from a much needed vacation in Fredericksburg, TX. If you haven't been there I would highly recommend this little old Town. Has a ton of old Shops, very nice main street with lots of Shops for our ladies and probably 10 vinyards and 5 or 6 little pubs. Lots of cool eating places and the best part of it all is an old car dealership that is now a antique/boutique shop has an old Pilot House parked in the shop out back!!

Congrats man, can't wait till my rig is ready to go! I would bet the best way to post a video would be to post it on YouTube then copy and paste link. Just a thought. Can't wait to see it!

Man I'm in the same spot your were a few months ago! Did moving the springs around lower the truck any or did it just change the ride? I am looking to to lower the front about and 1" and the back about 2". Same exact spring packs 7 front and 5 rear. Let me know what you think!
Thanks

Just doing a little looking around on the internet for Dodge Pilothouse trucks and came across this website that makes, re-ferbs your old axles and lowers them! Thought you all might like to see it.

Ok Guys, I've about come to the conclusion I have to get my block inspected, machined and bored and whatever else needs done. Does my 52 B-3-B with its 218 already have hardened exhaust and intake valve seats? I don't want to have to find additives or speacial fuel every time i need to fill up because gas is unleaded now. I've heard from the machine shop here in my area that it may already have hardened exhaust valves but he wasn't sure? Very new to this, your input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Landon

Got my seat back today and am very proud of it. Just wanted to show it off! I was trying to go with the same colors and pattern just like the day I found the old Snowman! Here's a few pics! The guy fixed a few springs, painted the frame and springs and all new padding and vinyl for $250. I thought was a great price!!

Gary, I had the same problem and found this place. You can put in all your SN# and it tells you what you got. It's pretty cool. Let me know if it works.

Very Cool, can't wait till my little guy is old enough to come out to the garage with his daddy and work on his future trucks. I remember doing things like that with my granddad, some of the best memories!
I'm in the same boat with a 6V blower motor needing to go to 12V. Did a lot of research and found a few places and may try a few motors. Good Luck on your hunt and let me know which one works if you get one done.

Guys I appreciate all the input and yes Zen Master it does have a hoist. I would bet it has hauled a lot of Texas grain in it's 60 years. I hopefully will own it tomorrow and can't wait to get all the info and history on it. In the pictures you can't really tell we're going through a horrible drought here in the Texas Panhandle but yes, it is very flat in this part of the Panhandle! Wouldn't trade it for anywhere else in the world, great people and the prettiest dust storms you could see.
Ok guys, found this truck and really want to buy it. The old man has had it for 40 Years and said it ran 4 or 5 years ago. He wants $800 for it, is that to much to pay? Body is in great condition needs glass, seat and whatever else under the hood to get it going. Just want to be able to fire it up, stay clean and cruze!!!

Tim, I think the last thing this truck was used for was pulling water well motors and irrigation uses. The truck at one time was used for a roofing company called "Snowman" The heat reflecting poly roof. Anyway, the body is staying the same on the truck but is getting all the guts re-worked and fully functional.
