That looks like the right one. My dimensions are 36 inches across the center of the opening and 13 1/2 high in the center of the opening.
Looks like I might have found one though. If that does not pan out:eek: I might holler at you if you want to sell it.
Been looking for a back glass for my 47 coupe with no luck. Can anyone tell me what else might fit? When I got my car it had a back glass, but it was to small to fit the hole in my coupe. I figured it must be for 46-48 sedan but not sure. I found a 50-ish four door Plymouth sedan in southern Indiana saturday looked like it was way to big. A complete looking car lots of good parts.
I just have an electric fuel pump only. I do not have diagram, I just wired it like I said in the above post. Worked out fine. I used a Standard brand oil pressure switch part # PS64. Hope this helps!
THANKS!!!
We visited New York last year on my sons band trip. There were 110 of us on two charter buses. I was so glad not to be driving in the Big City. Saw alot of great places. Enjoyed it very much but I think I will stick with living in my small town. We are a river town so we have a lot of industry, like 3 aluminum plants and 1 paper mill.
I hooked up my electric fuel pump with an oil presure switch with three legs. One leg is marked P for pump the other is marked S for start wire from starter when engine is cranking and I for ignition. Works great and is nice pecae of mind for safety. The pump only pumps when Starter turns over and when engine is running as long as there is oil presure. Engine stops oil presure falls and pump stops.
Did any one see these sill plates on the bay? Will they even fit a P15?

If the 40 Chevy coupe was closer to me and if dodgepu1946 did not want it, I would love to have a shot at it. Love the 40 Chevy my next project is a 40 Chevy 2 door sedan. Looked for a coupe could not find one in my price range, so I bought the sedan. This coupe looks like it is in pretty good shape. It is in a lot better shape than my 47 p15 I am working on now.
I used some super glue when I made side window rubber for my 47 DIVCO. Could not find rubber that would fit so I used universal rubber and super glued the ends together. Worked good just be sure to wipe of excess with a thinner rag. It dries shinny. Locktite make some that list rubber for one of the uses.
Just a thought, maybe someone on the forum around N J area can buy these for you and send them to you via USPS. You could ship these in a envelope with the packing pillows built in for less than 10 bucks to Canada. I shipped some tail lights to Canada via USPS and it was pretty smooth. I would be glad to do that for you if you want but shipping to me for the mounts is $13.00.
Maybe you could get him to ship them to you through USPS.
Here is link for USPS shipping claculator.
Hope this helps you out!

Hey my 47 P15 was also shot at. It had three bullet holes in the right quarter above the rear fender below the beltline (I guess you could say it was hit below the belt:rolleyes: ).
Good luck with 1940!
Well I finally found someone that had a 40 chevy car spring. The measurement that he gave me was 12 inches. Accourding to Bryans measurement of 10 3/4 there is a difference of 1 1/4 inches. My question is with the spring in the lowest position on the P15 where would that show up?
My guess would be the hood would not open up as far, but I don't know. What do you guys think?
Hey Jerry, welcome to a great forum! You have an interesting last name, just happens to be the same as mine. My name is Brad Tyler I live in KY. Me and my son are the last Tylers in our family. So it is up to my son to keep Tyler name going. Welcome Aboard!
Do you have any pics looking down on it like it would fit on the engine. From the side it kinda looks like it could be small chevy may be early 265 283,but that oil filler tube is very different than any small block chevy pan I have seen. They put 265 283 and 327 in some combines so maybe that is the deal with the oil filler tube!
Thanks alot Joe! I have not done anything yet, I was think about hitting
them a lick with grinder then add some seam sealer to the cracks! Then a nice layer of undercoat.
