  1. Glad to be here! This place is great! My dad and I try to make follies every year if possible. We were at the first one they had I was eight years old. Probably the best show around for street rods best value for the family.
  2. Here is a better pic of the 47 Dodge truck left of the the shot Steve took. Also little better pic of the 47 p-15.
  3. Here is an option he might consider if he can't find one. I believe this link was on this forum before. I saved it in my favs because I thought it was very save worthy. Hope this helps. http://www.ply33.com/Repair/tempgauge
  4. As I watched that I thought to my self, These people are staying at a high end hotels. The ones we stay at always have those plastic throw away cups.
  5. I am guessing 22 Hudson. http://www.realclassicads.com/hudson/1922_hudson.jpg
  6. I think that I remember him doing some pulling with a turbine powered tractor. I was not aware of the land speed record. You never forget a name like Art Arfons once you here it. He will be missed.
  7. I have one of those coats manual tire changers. The one I have has a foot petal that adjusts down to hold the wheel down tight against the tire changer. It looks like yours might be threaded on the shaft the wheel slides over. Do you think that mine might be an earlier design?
  8. Looking for some windshield wiper pivots. The piece that is on the outside of car that holds wiper transmissions on. Does not matter the condition. THANKS!!!
  9. My dad also taught me the fine art of hammering gaskets out the very same way. I have used everything from manila folders to Captain Crunch cereal boxes to make gaskets.
  10. I was having the same problem the other day. I use Firefox, so I cleared out the private data (cookies, cache, browsing history) and my saved bookmark searches came up right. The right stuff in the years I searched. So I clear my private data out ever once in a while and have not had any problems.
  11. I received one of those auto shading helmets for Christmas. I love it. It works great. Once you use one you will wonder why you did not get one sooner. Maybe in the past I was to bad to get one? Keep up the good work!
  12. This looks a lot like it. 1939 Plymouth 4 door sedan. Louver on the hood looks the same. Split back glass.
  13. That looks like it was born there! What would a LED light bulb do with 6v system?
  14. I have a 47 Plymouth coupe with a 305 out of a 86 camaro. The radiator is a three core cross flow out of a 76 chevy truck. It does the very same thing. I think that my problem is loss from over flow. I think that James Curl has hit the nail on the head for me. I need to put a recovery system on it so it will give and take as needed.
  15. Buy it! Here is a little inspiration!!!
