i forgot one thing i do have disks up front. i have the olddaddy kit. i also plan on doing two other cars that are in my club we all have the same kit.

this question is for the guys that have gutted the master and ran a dual behind it. what master have you guys used? or basically let's focus on what bore size should i be looking for?thanks for any help.

the car i had lined up fell through. i have a line on a 53 do you think they are the same?

on the old one the shaft was actually snapped long a go and welded back together in a fashion the my buddy says it cant be welded back together. and if he says he can't weld it back together i believe it must be pretty thrashed.

Hey have a pretty pressing question. My good friend works at a hot rod shop and they rebuilt a 218 for a guy well the distrubter that it originally had was junk. I have found him two more but they are longer. Any ideas where I can find the correct one. And what do I have? I am working on pics now.

I painted the spare dash for my car. and I am trying to strip the radio delete plate.I have tried paint stripper and a heat gun. anybody else have any suggestions?

i bought my kit from plydo and i have seen pics of the dtuff butch's has on his site and pretty positive it's the same kit.here is the direct link http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=10 with that being said if i were to do it all over again. and had to have a v8 i would put a small block mopar in it. i am not by any means a die hard mopar guy. but i have done the sbc and seen the mopar it is a much nicer fit. if you would like pictures of my install feel free to ask. i actually have the front clip off of my car at the moment so i can any pics you would like.

lots of stuff has happened since i last updated this thread i totally forgot about it. some of you guys probably noticed my other thread. if not my plan is to build a new chassis for the car.i am tired of the small block and the air bags. i want to go with a more traditional motor and suspension. I actually drove the car regularly over last summer. it's first outing was santa maria car show. my craigslist transmission was junk we swapped it out had the car aligned and hopped in the car for it's maiden seven hour trip. the car did pretty good other then losing 14 quarts of oil roundtrip. turns out i was missing a bolt. I have now pulled the front clip again motor/trans. and i will be getting it back on the road again soon. i also just started working on the side glass. any way here we go with some pics.

Roseville had that show last year and it was awesome! I won't miss it ever. And my car has a regular frame but it's the length of a four door not a two door. I have owned no lees then six 51-52 plymouth i have seen a convertable frame and its for sure not that. Thanks for the heads up tho. Good looking out!

I am going to look at it tomorrow. The guy says the motor it trash the head is off and its full of rats nest but the car is solid.

so i have the donor lined up. it looks complete and its a four door for 350 dollars.i plan to go and look at it tomorrow i will keep you guys posted.
