  9. There used to be a magazine that did back to back road tests of old cars. It was called Special Interest Autos [sIA]. If I remember rightly they did some testing of the big 3 cars for all different years. U can probably find the index of the back issues on the net somewhere. HTH Manuel in Oz
  10. Opel and Holden used Chev V8's. Holden still does. They were sold as Pontiac G8's and Firebird/GTO's in the US. Are there any new Pontiacs left that are for sale still? They would be a damn good buy. As they are quite a good car. I think they wanted to sell the ute over there as well. Cheers Manuel in Oz

  18. Utes used to have a one piece body. Though the current crop [Holden & Falcon] seem to have changed to separate trays. Manuel in Oz
  19. I think all the red Holden engines are the same [with regard to manifolds]. Have seem twin carb manifolds often on Oz xbay. Not sure if they fit Dodge engines. Manuel in Oz
  20. Looks like its all Ford. Has buggy springs front and back and sits on Ford wheels. Also 1949-53 Ford engine. Manuel in Oz

  25. Andy The other day I found out that some of our 230 motors are actually 228's. They have a different B & S. Could they be Kew motors? Manuel in Oz
