25 years ago I bought $300. worth of window rubber from Andy Bernbum that standard size glass would not fit into, I'm still waiting for a refund or the correct rubber for my 48

I know what you mean, I have some 1 that's interested in them, and I'd like to see them used, but I don't want the buyer walking away with a gift, and feel just as bad about cheating some 1 I've walked away from many parts because the price was to high, I have been looking for a set for a price for at least 5 years and have yet to come across them Just to set the record straight I've been a member over 20 years, Plymouth owners club too not a junior member

rocker moldings, not clips, measure 72" X 21/2''

Anyone have idea what a set of p15 bus cp rocker moldings are worth?

yea I know, i've talked to the new owner and he sounds sincere, no doubt he's a good guy and shame on me for holding a grudge. i joined this sight many years ago and received a lot of good info from strangers while restoring my 48 2 dr sedan i also have a 48 bus cp street rod, i actually was sitting in my car and going to drive up to andy's shop and dump the rubber on his door step but my psychiatrist talked me out of it

I have been on this site on and off since it's inception and the previous one also. During this time most of my 20 or so posts have been bashing AB and my feelings haven't changed about him. This morning I had several exchanges with the new owner, and feel he deserves a chance to prove himself. I realize you guy's don't know me from a hole in a wall and I have no connection with the new owner but he comes across to me as a man of character. Hopefully customers will post there experiences doing business with him.

I ran A public housing maint dept and delt with 100's of vendors bought everything from a zerk fitting to a back hoe. Never did I run into a bigger A hole. Because of Andy Bernbum I street rodded a 47 buss cp I orderdes $350 worth of window rubber that didn't fit correctly and he wouldn't make good on it. I said to my self I'm not doing this and ripped all the mechanicals out of it and went to chevy. That was 12 years ago. The Steel rubber fit perfect. Any of you panty wearing cry babies have a problem drop me a line.

I beg to differ with you. I have been on this site since it's inception, and on the old Plymouth site prior to that. My first dealing with AB (15 years ago) turned out OK it was some minor part. My next outing with him I purchased $400 worth of window rubber which turned out to narrow for OE glass. I sent him a section of rubber with the oe glass to prove my point He sent me a check for $30??? I ordered from steele and it fit perfect. I currently have 2 48 p-15s, 2 dr sed stock and bus cp street rod which I would burn before ordering a part from that AH.

Having done it several years ago I say don't. Most clips will put your tires out beyond the fenders by a inch or so. I over came this by taking 4" out of the center, but made for a tight fit between the frame rails. Only ram horn exh manifolds will fit. Plus alot of other mods.
