Barry, Should you decide to use the manifold fuel centralizer and In case my post was not clearly worded , the drawing in the manual shows the installed manifold fuel centralizer positioned opposite to the photo you posted?

I have a Chrysler Canada Truck Shop Manual ,WM4283, covering Dodge Series DF-DG-GH Series, also Fargo FN-FO-FP Series. On page 7.4 Fig 2 there is an Engine Center Sectional View drawing... the first item, ( number 1 0f 41 parts pointed to on the drawing), is the Manifold fuel centralizer. It show it inverted with the narrow end coming together,( picture a wishbone ), level the the top of the intake manifold. (Unfortunately with the latest windows upgrade? My computer no longer re cognizes my scanner, printer, nor my digital camera). Otherwise I would have posted a picture of the drawing for you....I could not find any text reference mentioning the part...per haps someone else will have more info to add to the topic...

....Now I feel guilty for harboring the thought.

At this point, the question for me _ Is this thread continuing simply to provide entertainment for the originator? ... Wondering how far he can push it before an insensitive comment results in the thread being, "locked"

I turned eighty a few days ago....This morning I opened a birthday card from my sister - Best laugh I've had in months.

Found this old cast iron tractor seat at a farm auction here in southern Alberta,(tractor was nowhere in sight). I was aware that Chrysler purchased Maxwell Motor Company and on further research via the internet I found that Maxwell manufactured a tractor post WWI,prior to the Chrysler takeover....Anyhow I now own part of a Maxwell tractor...?
