jimwheeldon Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 I have one near me thats $1900...he hasn't sold it though and it's been for sale for over a year. I think the devils in the details...is everything there? do the brakes work well? Are the floors solid? etc. good luck, it's a cool body style. Quote
hucks 50 Posted August 8, 2008 Author Report Posted August 8, 2008 im putting the brakes back together this weekend, floors have a little rust in the front . i pulled the gas tank and its getting repaired now. had it dipped and sealed. runs good . Quote
Merle Coggins Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 here's my other car,70 396 rally sport Where was that pic taken? That's a nice lookin B-1-B Dodge truck in the background. Quote
hucks 50 Posted August 8, 2008 Author Report Posted August 8, 2008 it was in caseyville illinois, truck was for sale .i think for 3500 Quote
jimwheeldon Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Just curious - how much did you have to give for it? Looks a lot nicer than the one up here. It's been poorly repainted (about 20 years ago)- wrong color and has some rust. Looks like you have a nice project there. It has the 230 with fluid drive ? Quote
PatS.... Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 This one, similar, has been for sale locally for $2000 for quite a while. Canadian Dodge, so different from your Dodges but as far as value goes should be similar. More pics and details: http://www.edsprojectcars.com/project_cars_for_sale.htm Quote
fadingfastsd Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 I bought my 51 Plymouth Concord, same body style, here in San Diego for $3500. It was originally for sale for $5k, but the guy was moving and needed it sold relatively soon. A real nice guy, I hung out with him and talked cars for a couple hours, and he dropped it into my budget range at $3500. Its a very driveable car...working out the bugs right now. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 The owner slicked this 49 model up real nice...... However, I'm not too fond of pink on one of these. Quote
hucks 50 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 i gave 1300.00 for my 50 dodge Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 None of those prices seem too bad......These old Mopars are worth something, if you like them. Just depends, to me, how much work you need to do to make them usable. There was (and may still be) one of the Plymouth fastbacks for sale here. I think they were asking maybe $500 but it was in terrible shape.....one guy I know offered them $200, but they did not sell. Quote
