Reg Evans Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 Possibly a weak fuel pump or your float level has changed. Quote
RobertKB Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Had the same problem with my '53 Plymouth and eventually tracked it down to the rubber hose that runs from the steel gas line on the frame to the fuel pump. It was collapsing when under full load. The rubber gets softer and if yours is old the new gas is not kind to it. I replaced it and everything is good on the big hill going out of town where I had trouble before. Quote
