bob1949b Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 I removed the support bracket and hand brake assembly off the rear of the transmission to clean and paint everything, but when I put it back together I found an extra washer or what could be a shim in the pile of crud I scraped off and dont know where it came from. Its about 2" across and the hole in the center is 1 1/2". There is a identical one that goes over the shaft in front the gear on that runs the speedo cable. Does anyone know where this goes?
