Yes, unless they are from a 1.5 ton or larger truck. Then the wheel well openings are larger and have a fender flare on them.

Reg... How about the cabs and doors, are they all interchangeable too?

They'll all interchange, but the 48-50 have an angled crease that goes almost the full legnth of the door (follows the profile and contour of the front fender). On the 51-53 doors this crease only goes partially across the door.

thanks for the info. very valuable, I am looking at a rust free cab and doors very soon for my 53 and this will make looking them over easier. bud

yep, dashes are different, I like the 51-53 better, but I am looking to possible graft a 49 Plymouth dash into the truck.... I just loooooove those 49-50 plymouth dashboards :D . Dennis, thanks for the excellent photos. Bud

As I understand, the dash in the pickup is welded in place so a swap will be somewhat difficult.

For what its worth, I like the older dash better.

I saw that it was welded, just makes the project that much more appealing and fun!!!!
