papajohn Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 So I've got a '47 Plymouth convertible I'm trying to piece together, and I need some tie-rod ends. I see a part # listed in the technical section for the right side bar (long bar on pass side?) but nothing listed for the short driver side bar. Does anyone know why they are different to start with? I have 3 of the old ones and they all look alike. Cany anyone give me some valid part #'s? Thanks - John Quote
TodFitch Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 From the RareParts web site, it looks like inner and outer are different. As well left side and right side are different. Quote
papajohn Posted May 28, 2008 Author Report Posted May 28, 2008 Thanks guys. I know i can get most of what I need from Kanter, but their prices are pretty high, and i only use them when i can't find it somewhere else. I was hoping for something i could buy at a local parts house. The pass side #'s listed on this site look to be early 70 dodge truck #'s. I have 3 with the car, just need to figure out which fit where and buy the 4th one.. Plus I have the PLY-DO kit to put in the cavalier rack/pinion, but it does not look like it will clear the oil pan on the 440. Quote
