Nothing personal....

I've just picked up a 47 Furd V8 motor that's a mint runner, also an I beam and open drive rear, and have a good lead on an A chassis and A coupe body. Unfortunately, to buy the coupe body I need some serious $$$, so have had to put my 55 Plymouth up for sale.

I've really enjoyed being part of this forum, and have learned heaps, for which I thank you all. I'll still check in from time to time to see what's going on, as I have a bit of a soft spot for the Mopar six. Or maybe I'll win the lottery this week and wont hafta sell.....

If your going the Flathead Ford route this is one of the best boards on the web. http://www.fordbarn.com/ The Early V8 Forum on the Ford Barn is devoted to flatheads. The folks there welcome newbies and their Flathead Ford knowledge level is second to none. Of course you may already know about the Barn.

Happy Motoring

Dude, through the mopar flatty in that A-coupe...Those long motors look so good in a fenderless chopped and channeled A, with a tri-power and a 6-1 lake pipe, plus its not what everybody else is doing...not that there is anything wrong with a Ford flathead, they're cool as hell. You should throw the mopar in the A, sell the 55, and then start shopping for a belly tank to throw the Ford flathead in. Then you would have a PAIR of bad @$$ cars!
